Hybrid: 7mm, 8.5mm or 9.7mm?
Terra Mater Resiplank hybrid comes in three thicknesses, all installed at $28/m²:
- 7mm ($45/m²): a good everyday floor for bedrooms, studies and smaller homes.
- 8.5mm ($55/m²): a step up in solidity underfoot, popular for living areas and kitchens.
- 9.7mm ($65/m²): the most solid feel and the highest acoustic rating of our hybrids, which suits two-storey homes and apartments.

Frequently asked questions
Does a thicker hybrid look different?
Not from above: the colours and textures are the same. The difference is how solid it feels and sounds underfoot.
Will a thicker floor stop doors closing?
It can. If doors need trimming, we pick it up at the measure and include it in the quote.
Can hybrid go in the bathroom of a bungalow?
It can be laid in a bathroom with a shower or bath, but we don’t recommend it, because water can get through the joins and edges to the subfloor. Laundries and powder rooms are fine.
