Supertuft names Whenever, alongside Escape Twist, as one of its harder-wearing styles, and describes the wool yarn as naturally durable and resistant to staining. The 2026 spec sheet lists 50 oz per square yard before shearing, a pile of about 8 mm and 3.66 m rolls, with a grading of extra heavy residential use, stairs included. It is New Zealand wool, made in Melbourne by a family business producing carpet since 1980. The colour choice is short: Tomorrow and Tonight, which Supertuft lists among its neutrals, plus a third option, RightNow, that it shows without a photo. Does Whenever hide stains?
The two-tone yarn makes everyday soiling less obvious, and Supertuft describes the wool as naturally resistant to staining. Like any wool carpet, it still needs regular vacuuming and quick spot cleaning.
Should I choose Whenever or Escape Twist?
Supertuft rates both as its harder-wearing styles. Escape Twist offers 29 colours; Whenever has a much smaller palette, but its two-tone yarn is better at hiding marks.
Is the RightNow colour available?
Supertuft lists RightNow as a Whenever colour but doesn't show a photo of it. We'll check availability with Supertuft and bring a physical sample to your measure if it's available.
