- Colour: warm neutrals sit well with timber joinery and leadlight, and mid-tones hide everyday wear better than very pale or very dark plain shades.

Camberwell East flooring questions
Can wool carpet go on the stairs?
Yes. Wool wears well on stairs. Carpet installation on an average staircase is about $600, plus the carpet (about 13 m² for 16 steps) and underlay. Patterned carpet on stairs is quoted at the measure.
Do you lay engineered timber in renovated period homes?
Yes. Engineered oak (from $89/m²) and Australian species (about $130/m²) suit both the original rooms and a modern extension. They can be floated over sound boards or glued to a slab; we check the subfloor at the measure.
What’s the difference between wool and a wool blend?
A wool blend mixes wool with a synthetic fibre for extra resilience. Mid-range wool and wool-blend carpets are both $68.30/m², so it comes down to the look and feel you prefer.
