Can one floor run through the original house and the extension?
Often, yes, but it depends on the floor heights and subfloors in each part of the house. We check them at the free measure, and any preparation needed is itemised in your written quote.
Wool or nylon for a family home?
Both work well. Wool has a natural look and feel that many people like in bedrooms and formal rooms. Solution-dyed nylon is coloured right through the fibre and is a practical choice for rumpus rooms and kids’ rooms. Triexta is another option worth seeing. We’ll bring samples of each.
How soon will I have a quote?

Is my old carpet worth restretching?
If it has rippled but is otherwise in good condition, we can restretch it. If it’s more than 15 years old, we’ll usually advise replacing it instead. We don’t patch or repair carpet or other flooring, and we don’t offer carpet cleaning or water-damage restoration.
