Where Is Richmond?
Richmond is an inner-city suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, 3 km (1.86 miles) east of Melbourne’s Central Business District in the provincial government region of the City of Yarra district.
Three of the 82 designated major activity districts listed in the Melbourne 2030 Metropolitan Strategy are found in Richmond—the commercial areas of Victoria Street, Bridge Road and Swan Street.
