Description
Palmetto Footprint-Resistant Nylon Loop by EC Carpets
Palmetto is a 1220 g/m² (36 oz) nylon loop that the manufacturer designed to help resist footprints and shading, the light and dark patches that can show where pile has been pressed in different directions. With loops from 4 to 9 mm and about 11.5 mm total thickness, it has a full, comfortable feel and suits living areas, hallways and bedrooms. The spec sheet lists Extra Heavy Duty (6-star) and Medium Duty (2-star) ratings, and the manufacturer lists 15-year residential wear, 15-year colourfast and lifetime anti-static warranties (conditions apply). It carries ECS 4+ certification and is made in South Australia from solution-dyed nylon. Palmetto is a touch heavier than Andes Peak and well short of Tuscany; choose it when footprint marking in a busy living space is your main concern. The ten colours carry Florida place names, from Miami to Wynwood. We can bring them all to your home.
