Description
District Loft Twist Cut Pile by EC Carpets
District Loft is the lightest of EC’s cut-pile carpets: a 1020 g/m² (30 oz) twist cut pile in solution-dyed nylon with an 8 mm pile and about 10 mm total thickness. It gives the soft, even finish of a traditional cut pile without the extra depth of Coco Bliss or Comfort Touch, which suits bedrooms, studies and everyday living areas. Despite the lighter weight, the spec sheet rates it Residential Extra Heavy Duty (6-star) and Contract Medium Duty (2-star). The manufacturer lists 15-year residential wear, 15-year colourfast, 10-year commercial wear and lifetime anti-static warranties (conditions apply). Colour names take an urban theme, such as Foundry, Metro and Precinct, across ten options. District Loft is made in Lonsdale, South Australia, under an ISO 14001 environmental management system. We can bring it to your home alongside the heavier cut piles so you can compare the feel side by side.
