Description
Bourkesgate Dense Nylon Loop by EC Carpets
Bourkesgate is a dense, close-gauge nylon loop whose surface is smooth and plush-looking. Its 1/10 gauge construction packs 1020 g/m² (30 oz) of solution-dyed nylon into tightly set loops of 5 to 6 mm, so the top reads as even and refined rather than nubbly. It is rated Residential Extra Heavy Duty 2 (6-star), and the spec sheet also lists a Heavy Duty (3-star) rating. The manufacturer lists 15-year residential wear, stain resistance and fade resistance warranties, 10-year commercial wear, and lifetime anti-static and insect deterrent cover (conditions apply). That mix suits hallways, living areas and home or small offices. Think of it as the slimmer sibling of Birdwood: the same tight construction at a lighter weight and about 8.5 mm thick. Langhorne Hut is EC’s other 30 oz option, with a more textured high-low loop. Bourkesgate comes in eight colours, which we can bring to your home.
