Carpet and flooring in Sandringham
Sandringham mixes Edwardian and interwar homes, weatherboards and Californian bungalows with newer family homes, townhouses and apartments, many of them close to the village shops and the station. With the beach and the harbour nearby, floors here often need to handle sand, wet feet and busy family life as well as look good.
CarpetAce supplies and installs carpet, hybrid, vinyl and engineered timber in Sandringham, from a single bedroom to a whole house. We bring the samples to you, and the people who measure your home are people who install floors.

Why CarpetAce
Tony Chalhoub founded CarpetAce in 2010. He’s been a carpet installer for more than 20 years, and he built the business around one idea: the person who quotes your job should know how to install it. In many stores, once you’ve ordered, the job is handed to an installer on a work order. Here, the people who measure and quote are installers.
We’re a family-owned business with more than 40 years in flooring, rated 5.0 from 300+ Google reviews.
Sandringham flooring FAQs
Hybrid or carpet for a family home near the beach?
A common mix is hybrid in the kitchen, living and entry areas, where sand and wet feet are part of daily life, with carpet in the bedrooms. Resiplank hybrid starts at $45 per m², supply only, and solution-dyed nylon carpet is an easy-care choice for kids’ rooms. Try both in See it in your room using a photo of your own space.
Can you do just one room?
Yes. Installed jobs under 20 m² have a $450 small-job charge added, and the instant price guide adds it automatically.
Will you take up the old carpet and move the furniture?
Yes, if you’d like us to. Taking up and disposing of old carpet is about $8 per m², and furniture moving is $8 per m². Removing old tiles, timber or vinyl is quoted at the measure.
Do you repair carpet?
We restretch carpet, and that’s all. Patching, burn and stain repairs, other flooring repairs, carpet cleaning and water-damage work aren’t services we offer. For carpet more than 15 years old, we’ll usually recommend replacing it rather than restretching it.
