- Check the label: “wool” in a range name doesn’t always mean pure wool, so look at the fibre content.

Frequently asked questions
Does wool carpet suit a home with dogs?
A dense cut pile in wool or a blend copes well. Avoid big loops, which claws can catch, and vacuum regularly.
Is wool warmer than nylon?
Wool is naturally insulating and feels warm underfoot, and a good 10mm underlay adds to it.
