Flooring for Guys Hill homes
Guys Hill is a small semi-rural area along Emerald Road between Beaconsfield and Upper Beaconsfield, near Cardinia Creek, in the Shire of Cardinia. It’s about 32 km by road from our Huntingdale showroom. The Cardinia Park Hotel across Emerald Road dates back to before 1883 as The Bush Inn, and the Montuna golf links opened nearby in 1930. Its homes are separate houses, many on generous blocks.
In bigger homes, ordering enough flooring from one batch is what keeps every room looking the same.
Ordering for the whole house at once
- Batches vary slightly: carpet and hard floors are made in batches, and colours can differ a little from one to the next.
- Order it all together: buying the whole job at once means every room comes from the same batch.
- Doing it in stages? If you plan to finish later, ask at the measure which ranges are long-running, or buy extra now.
- Keep spares: a few spare planks or carpet tiles from the same batch are worth keeping for the future.

Guys Hill flooring questions
Will two rolls of the same carpet match?
If they’re from the same batch, yes. Ordering the whole job together gives the best chance that everything comes from one batch.
Can you lay a large home in one go?
Yes. We plan the order of rooms and how long it will take at the measure, so you know what to expect.
Do you travel out to Guys Hill?
Yes. It’s within our service area, and the mobile showroom brings the samples to your home.
The CarpetAce difference
The person who quotes your job knows how to install it. That’s the idea Tony Chalhoub, a carpet installer for more than 20 years, built CarpetAce on in 2010. Today we’re a family-owned business with more than 40 years in flooring and a 5.0 rating from more than 300 Google reviews. Read our story.
How a job runs
It starts with a phone call or an enquiry. We arrange a time for the free measure, Monday to Saturday between 7am and 7pm, and bring the mobile showroom so you can compare samples in your own light. Your written quote is emailed within 24 hours of the measure. When you’re ready, our installation team lays the floor, and we can take up the old one and move the furniture first.
