Terra Mater NuCore Excellence Laminate Flooring
NuCore Excellence is a 12mm laminate rated AC4, which Terra Mater classes as suitable for homes and light commercial areas. Boards are 2250 x 193mm on an E1 HDF core, with an aluminium oxide wear layer, bevelled edges, registered embossing and a drop-lock joint. Like NuCore Extreme, it is listed for in-slab hydronic heating up to 27°C and has a P3 wet slip rating, and the manufacturer’s domestic warranty is 25 years wear plus lifetime structural. The eight colours are Flint, Nomad, Dover, Coastal Blackbutt, NSW Spotted Gum, Urban, Tranquil and Dusky, covering native timber looks and more neutral shades. Excellence is the natural choice for most homes; step up to NuCore Extreme if you need the AC5 rating for heavier commercial traffic. Should I choose NuCore Excellence or NuCore Extreme?
Both are 12mm. Excellence is AC4 (light commercial) with a drop-lock joint; Extreme is AC5 (heavy commercial) with a 5G click joint. For most homes Excellence is enough, and we can help you decide at the measure.
Can NuCore Excellence go over underfloor heating?
Terra Mater lists it as suitable for in-slab hydronic underfloor heating up to 27°C.
