- Smooth transitions: trims between rooms can be kept as low as the floors allow, to reduce trip points. We work them out at the measure.
- Kitchens and bathrooms: hybrid suits kitchens and laundries. In a bathroom with a shower or bath it can be laid, but we don’t recommend it, because water can get through the joins and edges to the subfloor.
- Matt finishes on hard floors reduce glare from windows.

Questions about flooring in Edithvale
Is a low-pile carpet less comfortable?
It feels firmer than a plush, but a good 10mm underlay underneath makes a big difference to comfort.
Will the new floor be higher than the old one?
Sometimes slightly, depending on the old floor and the new one. Where floors meet at a different height, a trim finishes the join neatly, and we work out the trims and any door trimming at the measure.
How do I look after a hybrid floor?
Sweep or vacuum regularly and use a damp (not wet) mop. Felt pads under chair and table legs help prevent scratches.
How a job runs
It starts with a phone call or an enquiry. We arrange a time for the free measure, Monday to Saturday between 7am and 7pm, and bring the mobile showroom so you can compare samples in your own light. Your written quote is emailed within 24 hours of the measure. When you’re ready, our installation team lays the floor, and we can take up the old one and move the furniture first.
