How a job runs

We measure every room and add an allowance for offcuts, about 8% for hard floors. Your written quote shows the quantities.
What is a wear layer?
It’s the clear top layer of a hybrid or vinyl plank that protects the printed design. A thicker wear layer stands up to more traffic; the 9.7mm Resiplank has the heaviest of our hybrids.
Is engineered timber OK over a large area?
Yes. Engineered boards are more stable than solid timber, which suits big open spaces. On a slab they can be floated or glued down; we decide which at the measure.
