Description
Bordeaux Heavyweight Nylon Loop by EC Carpets
Bordeaux is the heaviest loop in the EC Carpets solution-dyed nylon collection, at 1695 g/m² (50 oz). Loops ranging from 5 to 10 mm form an irregular, organic texture with the kind of depth usually associated with a heavy wool, and at about 13 mm total thickness it feels substantial underfoot. The spec sheet lists Extra Heavy Duty 2 (6-star) and Heavy Duty (3-star) ratings, and the manufacturer lists 15-year residential wear, 15-year colourfast and lifetime anti-static warranties (conditions apply). It carries ECS 4+ certification and is made in South Australia. Choose Bordeaux for main living areas, bedrooms and hallways when you want a weighty, premium loop in a synthetic fibre. Tuscany offers a similar wool-like character a step lighter at 45 oz, so the two are worth comparing. The ten colours carry French names such as Lorient, Pessac and Colette, and our mobile showroom can bring them all to your home.
