Description
Birdwood Dense Nylon Loop by EC Carpets
Birdwood is built for heavy traffic. A fine 1/10 gauge packs 1190 g/m² (35 oz) of solution-dyed nylon into tightly spaced loops of almost even height (6 to 7 mm), giving a dense, smooth surface that looks closer to a plush than a typical textured loop. It is rated Residential Extra Heavy Duty 2 (6-star) and Contract Extra Heavy Duty (4-star), so it suits high-traffic hallways and living areas as well as offices and other commercial spaces. Its warranty list is the longest in the EC collection: 20-year residential wear, fade resistance and stain resistance, 10-year commercial wear and appearance retention, plus lifetime anti-static and insect deterrent, all as listed by the manufacturer (conditions apply). Bourkesgate shares the same tight construction at 30 oz with shorter cover. Birdwood comes in eight colours, and we can bring them to your home for a closer look.
