Installation on an average staircase is about $600, plus the carpet (about 13 m² for 16 steps) and underlay. For hybrid or timber stairs, installation is $1,600 for a 16-step staircase, plus the flooring. All prices include GST, and we confirm them at the measure.
Can the stairs match the hybrid downstairs?
Yes. Our hybrid and vinyl plank ranges have matching stair nosings, so the stairs can follow the same floor as the living areas.
Will a carpet join show in a big upstairs bedroom?
Carpet rolls are usually 3.66 m wide, so a wider room needs a join. We do our best to place joins where they’re least noticeable and away from the main walkways, and we’ll explain the layout at the measure.
