Terms and Conditions of Promotion

1. Acceptance of Terms: Participation in the promotion is considered acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2. Promotion Period: The promotion commences on 23rd August 2024 at 10:00 AM and ends on 5th October 2024 at 10:00 PM AEST.
3. Eligibility: This promotion is only open to residents within 40 km of Huntingdale 3166.
4. Age Requirement: Winners must be 18 years or older at the time of entry.
5. Qualifying Residences: Only domestic residences qualify for the prize. Domestic residences are defined as homes, flats, townhouses, and apartments located within Victoria, specifically within 40 km of CarpetAce’s showroom at 52 Hargreaves Street, Huntingdale 3166.
6. Ownership Requirement: Entrants must own the domestic residence for which the submission has been made, and it must be considered an owner-occupied dwelling. Rental properties are not eligible for the competition.
7. Ineligibility: Eligibility does not extend to:
   => Employees, employees’ immediate families, or directors of CarpetAce Pty Ltd and associated entities.
   =>Flooring installation contractors contracted by CarpetAce group companies and franchisees, nor their immediate family members.
8. Entry Limitations: Entries are limited to one entry per person.
9. Verification Rights: CarpetAce reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including but not limited to an entrant’s identity, age, place, and ownership of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the discretion of CarpetAce. Failure by CarpetAce to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
10. Entry Validity: Incomplete, illegible, indecipherable, or inappropriate entries will be deemed invalid.
11. Use of Personal Information: All details such as first name, last name, email address, phone number, suburb, and state will only be used by the CarpetAce marketing department to contact entrants as required and for marketing retargeting purposes.
12. Winner Selection: The one (1) winner of the competition will be determined and announced on 5th October at 2 PM. All entries must be submitted by 10 PM AEST on 5th October 2024.
13. Drawing of Winner: The winner will be drawn on 5th October 2024 at CarpetAce’s showroom in Huntingdale.
14. Alternate Winner: If the winner does not meet the terms and conditions, is unreachable after 7 days, or if that winner is unavailable for prize fulfilment, their prize will be awarded to an alternate winner.
15. Prize Details: The competition prize includes carpet for three rooms under 37 m². The winner must select from the 36 oz solution-dyed nylon twist pile carpet in the stock range. The prize awarded is not redeemable for cash value or any other cash equivalent.
16. Quote and Installation: The winner will be directed to visit our showroom to obtain a quote and to review installation terms and conditions.
17. Area Limitations: If the supply and installation of carpet is not needed for three rooms of the house, no exchange or monetary value can be redeemed.
18. Excess Area Charges: If the supply and installation of the specified area exceeds 37 m² and/or if floor preparation is required, the balance must be paid by the winning entrant prior to the commencement of installation.
19. Prize Waiver: Winners may waive their right to receive the prize. The prize is non-assignable and non-transferable. No substitution will be allowed.
20. Promotion Interference: If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorized intervention, or fraud, CarpetAce reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to (a) disqualify an entrant, or (b) terminate the promotion, as appropriate.
21. Liability Disclaimer: CarpetAce will not be responsible for incomplete, lost, late, or misdirected entries, or failure to receive entries of any kind, including, without limitation, malfunctioning of any network, hardware, or software, whether originating with the sender or receiver of the entries.
22. Consent to Use Personal Information: All entrants and winners consent to CarpetAce using their name, backstory, images of themselves, images submitted for the promotion, and any other before-and-after images of the domestic dwelling. This can be in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome) and promoting any products/services provided by CarpetAce.
23. Property Access for Photos: The winner consents to CarpetAce accessing the property to capture before-and-after photos to show the transformation. These photos will also be subject to the above clause (22).
24. Entry Submission: To enter, visit https://carpetace.com.au/, complete the official entry form, including all the requested details as prompted, and submit. Additionally, visit our Instagram page, like, share, and tag three friends.
25. Site Validation: The specified area that will have the new carpet installed must be viewable by CarpetAce representatives for validation for before-and-after pictures.
26. Prize Validity: The prize is only valid for the domestic residence for which the submission was made.
