Sandhurst is a master-planned golf community in the City of Frankston, built on former grazing land around The Sandhurst Club, whose North Course opened in 2004 and Champions Course in 2008. It’s about 25 km by road from our Huntingdale showroom, next to Carrum Downs and Skye, with more than 1,300 homes and dozens of parks along quiet cul-de-sacs.

The main bedroom and walk-in robe
- Low traffic, high comfort: a main bedroom sees little wear, so it can take a softer, more luxurious carpet, such as premium wool (about $110/m²) or a plush cut pile.
- Into the robe: running the same carpet into the walk-in robe keeps the suite seamless and warm underfoot.
- The ensuite: carpet stops at the ensuite door with a neat trim; ensuites are usually tiled, and we don’t lay tiles.
- Underlay: a good 10mm underlay makes the biggest difference to how luxurious carpet feels.

Does plush carpet suit a main bedroom?
Yes. A plush cut pile feels luxurious and suits a low-traffic room, though it shows footprints and vacuum marks more than a twist.
Should the robe carpet match the bedroom?
Usually. The same carpet throughout the suite looks best and avoids a join at the robe doorway.
Can the rest of the house have hard floors?
Yes. Many homes have hybrid or engineered timber in the living areas and carpet in the bedrooms.

How a job runs
It starts with a phone call or an enquiry. We arrange a time for the free measure, Monday to Saturday between 7am and 7pm, and bring the mobile showroom so you can compare samples in your own light. Your written quote is emailed within 24 hours of the measure. When you’re ready, our installation team lays the floor, and we can take up the old one and move the furniture first.
