Questions about flooring in Bonbeach
Does sand damage hybrid?
Grit can scratch any floor if it’s walked in. Hybrid’s wear layer resists it well, and mats at the doors plus regular sweeping keep it looking good.
Is laminate OK in a beach house?
Only in dry rooms. Laminate doesn’t like water, so hybrid or vinyl plank is the safer choice near doors, kitchens and laundries.
Do you lay floors in townhouses with stairs?
Yes. Carpet stairs are about $600 to install on an average staircase, and hybrid stairs $1,600 for 16 steps, plus the flooring.
