Do Art Deco flats have rules about hard floors?
Many do. Body corporate rules often limit hard floors upstairs because of noise between flats. Check yours before you decide, and bring the rules to the measure. Apartment and body corporate jobs in homes add 10% to the installed price.
Is herringbone harder to look after?
No. It’s cleaned the same way as plank: sweep or vacuum, then wipe over with a damp (not wet) mop. Our care guide has more tips.
Does herringbone need more boards?
There’s more cutting at the edges, so we allow for it when we work out the quantity at the measure. The board price per m² is the same as plank.
