Newer Elsternwick apartments often have body corporate rules about noise between floors. Carpet over a good underlay is the quietest choice; if you’d like a hard floor, check the rules first and bring them to the measure. Apartment and body corporate jobs in homes add 10% to the installed price.
Period houses
In Victorian and Edwardian homes, wool carpet and engineered timber suit the character. We remove and refit the skirting on hard floors so the original profile stays, and we do our best to keep carpet joins out of hallways.
