McKinnon flooring FAQs
Is hybrid or laminate better for a family room?
Hybrid ($45–$65/m²) costs a little more than laminate (about $40/m²), but its planks resist water, so it’s the better choice near kitchens and back doors. Laminate suits dry rooms like bedrooms and studies. Both are $28/m² to install.
What’s best with pets?
Hard floors are the easiest to clean of pet hair. In carpeted rooms, a cut pile in solution-dyed nylon resists stains and is less likely to snag on claws than a big loop.
Do you do small jobs, like one bedroom?
Yes. Jobs under 20 m² have a $450 small-job charge on top of the usual price.
