Your rooms
Measure each room wall to wall, in metres. Add hallways and built-in and walk-in robes as their own rooms. For an L-shaped room, add a second part.
Carpet roll width: 3.66 m
Carpet comes off a roll 3.66 m wide. A room wider than the roll needs a join and an extra fill piece, so you pay for the carpet used, not just the floor area. For example, a 4 × 4 m room needs a 0.34 m fill. Some ranges come 4 m wide, which costs more per m²; ask us at your free measure.
Stairs are priced at your measure, so they aren't in the price guide.

Your floor plan
A builder's plan, a real estate floor plan or a hand sketch with measurements all work. We'll check your sizes against it, or measure from it if you skipped step 1.

Your details
