About this range

Cotswolds is a patterned New Zealand wool loop with a geometric design worked into the pile. At 1695 g/m² (50 oz), with loops from 5 to 11 mm and about 14 mm total thickness, it is a substantial wool carpet with plenty of body. EC uses its CoreLoop construction here, as it does for Elmsford. The nine colours move through warm neutrals and earthier shades, with names such as Willowby, Thornleigh and Hazelwood. Rated Residential Extra Heavy Duty (6-star) and Contract Medium Duty (2-star), it suits living rooms, bedrooms and hallways. The manufacturer lists 15-year residential wear and 15-year insect deterrent warranties (conditions apply), and the range is ECS 4+ certified. Compared with Dawson Falls, another geometric wool loop, Cotswolds is heavier at 50 oz against 40 oz. Patterned carpet needs careful planning at the joins, and we do our best to keep them out of the main sight lines. See all nine colours at home with our mobile showroom.

Questions

Cotswolds FAQs

Should I choose Cotswolds or Elmsford?

Both are New Zealand wool loops using EC's CoreLoop construction with 5 to 11 mm loops. Cotswolds is 50 oz and geometric in design; Elmsford is 60 oz, its design offset and organic, and also carries a 10-year commercial wear warranty.

How are joins handled on a patterned carpet?

Cotswolds comes on a 3.66 m roll, so larger rooms will need a join. We plan the layout at the free measure and do our best to line up the pattern and place joins where they are least noticeable.

What warranty comes with Cotswolds?

As listed by the manufacturer: 15-year residential wear and 15-year insect deterrent warranties. Conditions apply.
